The owner of this 1911 home suffered the heartbreak of seeing his childhood home ravaged by fire in 2015. But like the phoenix of Greek mythology, a stunning new home has risen from the ashes. The home combines the historically protected front façade with a contemporary interior. Most of the interior walls on the main level were removed to create an open floor plan and gallery-like interior to showcase art. The upstairs floor plan was also modified to create a spacious master bedroom in the rear, and a guest bedroom in front. A glass and steel addition built on the rear of the house floods the interior with natural light.
